Convocation 2025 Scheduled - The Convocation for the year 2025 is scheduled to be held on Friday, 11th July 2025. The award of medals to the respective winners will take place at JN Tata Auditorium in the forenoon session, presided over by Chief Guest Prof. Manjul Bhargava, Professor of Mathematics at Princeton University. Divisional-wise degree distribution will occur at designated Halls/Auditoriums in the afternoon of the same day, with exact venues to be announced later. Due to space constraints, only 500 students will be allowed to sit inside the JN Tata Auditorium on a first-come, first-served basis, restricted to students only, while their guests will be accommodated at the respective degree award venues. A registration link will be sent to all concerned on or after 15th June 2025, and registration will close by 4th July 2025. The university offers various scholarships to its students based on their academic merit and economical background. The scholarship varies for course to course and some fellowships are offered monthly as well. If you want to take admission in the Bachelor of Science (Research) program at IISc Bangalore in 2025, here’s what you need to know. You must have completed your Class 12 (or will complete it in 2025) with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as your main subjects. You should have at least 60% marks (just passing marks if you belong to SC/ST category). Admission is based on exams like JEE Advanced or IISER Aptitude Test (IAT), and you must apply for those exams separately. You also need to apply on IISc’s own website. The application form is available from May 1 to June 6, 2025. The application fee is Rs 500 for General/OBC/EWS and Rs 250 for SC/ST/PwD.
The total fees for the first year are around Rs 30,200 for General students. This includes tuition, lab, library, and other fees. Yes, the response sheet for UCEED 2025 was issued on January 20, 2025. It can be downloaded using your registered email ID and password through the official UCEED portal. It consists of answers submitted to Part A of the examination. It is thus possible to calculate the estimated score using this by referring to the answer key that the authorities issue in the respective answer sheet. The candidate may evaluate their performance using the answer key, thereby evaluating their admission possibility into their target institute.
